Every player in the city can be attacked. Fights cost energy and are decided by strength, speed and defense, plus your class and your gear. Put someone in hospital and you win experience; the higher their level compared with yours, the more you get.
Mugging
Mugging costs 10 nerve and takes up to 15% of the cash someone is carrying. Speed matters most. Keep your money in the bank if you don't want to be a target.
Revenge
Whoever beats or mugs you goes on your hit list for 48 hours. Beat them back in that time and it's revenge: 50% extra experience, and they're told you got even.
Bounties
Put a price on someone's head, from $5,000. The next player to put them in hospital collects it. The house keeps 10% on top, so it isn't a way to move money between friends.
The five classes
| Mastermind Balanced | No weak spot. A little of everything, and nothing anyone can exploit. |
| Assassin Heavy offense | Hits harder than anyone, and gives up a little cover to do it. |
| Bodyguard Defensive tank | Takes the punishment and outlasts it. Swings a little lighter. |
| Smuggler High speed | First to swing, hardest to pin down, and the best mugger in the city. |
| Thief Agile rogue | Quick hands with some weight behind them. Good at mugging, honest in a fight. |
The first pick is free. Switching later costs 100 points.
